Who’s this then?
Since 2018 We've been making and recording noise at our studio in Cardiff. Sometimes it’s just for us, but usually it’s for people like you. We pride ourselves in being flexible and open minded to the craft and bring collective decades of experience to any project.

Jared Planas - Engineer
Jared is one of our resident engineers, and when he’s not out working festival stages he’s here putting together great recordings with a growing family of artists.
With time in the world of television, a native Welsh speaker and a performer himself Jared has a wealth of real world experience to bring to your projects.
Daniel Manton - Studio Director
Hi! I’m Dan, I’m the founder of Kingsbane and I run the day to day operations here. I’m responsible for curating our studio space and equipment collection here including our famous and growing wall of guitars.
I’ve produced most of the projects that have passed through our doors for the last 7 years and I’ve also been running the podcast side of the business since its inception in 2022.
The Studio
Our studio is well equipped and flexible in its layout. Our main treated live room can seat 4 for a comfortable podcast, a fully equipped drum kit or even at a squeeze a 4 piece band all at once (ask us how we know!). Our largest spaces can house much larger groups, and have 16 foot ceilings that create an incredible room sound.
Our control room is based around a vintage DDA AMR24 mixing console and we are wired for 32 channel simultaneous capture.
All of our main spaces are hard-wired for audio and have mounting points for video, so we can capture everything that’s going on in a session as it happens. For any creative audio project in 2025, having the visuals to back it up is crucial!
We’re located in a quiet industrial building in Cardiff. By design this helps our more discerning clients to work with little distraction during the daytime.
We have our own forecourt parking, if you’re driving to us you’re welcome to use it.

Since 2022 we’ve been recording, producing and releasing shows for professionals and enthusiasts from right here in our studio in Cardiff. We are unique in our approach as a studio, as we provide an engineer to every session that happens at our space. This means that we can guarantee a good quality recording and no technical issues for you to worry about while you’re trying to focus on your show.
We also capture video up to 4K for your sessions so you’re up to spec with the industry leaders and can cleanly edit your footage for vertical and social media.
As standard we also provide your recorded video and audio files as separate stems that we time align for you. This means that you can simply drop them into your chosen editing software and they will all be correctly synchronised. Easy!
As of September 2025, we will also be trialling a self booking system for Podcasts with us. This means that whenever inspiration strikes day or night you can instantly book a slot.
